Submission Guideliness: [link]
Please take the time to read the Club Submission Guidelines before submitting your work. Thank you.

Mainstream or something a little left of centre?Last weekend I had the pleasure of working on a maternity shoot for a friend. We shot a lot of lovely portrait shots and then decided to be silly and have a little fun.

So tell me: when you are shooting formal portraits, are the images mainly mainstream? Of do you like to try something a little different?
Personally I think taking risks with your work is important. Even if the image doesn't work out the way you want it to, you still win. Taking chances is important to improve and flex your artistic muscles.

So please drop me a note and share with me the images that you took a risk on; tell me what you were aiming for, did it turn out the way you wanted it to, did you like the way it turned out, and most importantly what you learnt. These little nuggets will be included in a future journal. :excite:
Kind regards

STAMP OUT ART THEFT WHEREVER YOU FIND IT!
This is an issue I am very passionate about, and I urge you to report art theft wherever you find it, be is on DA, or any other online or off-line place.
Unfortunately art theft happens so often that we sometimes feel powerless to do anything about it. But you
can help.
If you see anyone abusing copyright, be it here, or even for a social club newsletter at work, speak up! Support a zero-tolerance for art theft in all forms!

Devious Comments
as far as personal artistic expressions, off-center should be the norm. although that statement in itself defeats the nature of being off-center and turning it normal (in which case off-center is no longer...off-center
