How many of you try new things within your art? Do you stick to what you are comfortable with, or do you try new things?

There is some stunning work here on dA, it's easy to forget it sometimes...

This week has been a busy week for me... I have been dealing with the fallout from a girl being attacked on my campus. The beautiful art on dA never fails to cheer me up. Never stop looking through!

Hello All,

Those of you who have actually wandered onto my personal page will have realised that I have been quite unwell recently.

This coupled with my uni work has lead to a backlog of submissions and general admin stuff with the club. This isn't so good, so I am now getting some help. My good friend ~GaEv is going to be stepping in to give me a hand. You won't see much of him, but he's going to be working away in the background on submissions. (The important side of things!)

Do go say hey to him, he's a git... but he's a lovable git. Some of his writing and general comments make me laugh so much!


As for me, I am still working on getting better. I'm almost over the infection, but it messed up my immune system, and I just want to spend a lot of my time in bed... But that's not something I can do!

Also, those of you who have never said 'hey', what's going on there? Be a bit more social!

In other news, I am sorry I have been a little inactive and then uploading in batches. I know this can be annoying for you to go through... but it's the only way at the moment. This last week I have had lectures every day, and then meetings every evening. What with work and sleep, I've struggled to fit in play! The club wasn't at the top of the list

I hope you can forgive me

I am sorry I have been absent for the last week. Having the worst couple of weeks, but should be back to the club at the weekend/early next week.

So, my first full week has come and gone. I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that I've already managed to upset/annoy at least one person with my new rules. Gotta love when you have an effect!

The rule that seems to be causing issue is the one where I am blocking people long enough to remove the favourites they have of the club submissions. (It's only for a few seconds)... I am then contacting the person involved, stating they have been blocked for a second, and that they can rewatch the club if they choose.

Now, my message may be brusque, but I didn't think it was threatening, as one deviant did! Do note, most people have responded well...

I'd like your opinion, should I just message people asking them to remove the favourite (which people don't seem to do), or do I carry on with my system, where I remove the club submissions from their favourites for them?

Personally, I like my system. It makes sure the image is removed from their favourites, and makes them aware of the rules. I just want to make sure that you guys get the recognition you all deserve.

I've also realised that out of the 600 odd people watching the club, only about 60 of you read and respond to the journal(even if it is just clicking the poll). That's a shame...

I am moving into uni this next week, so submissions may be a bit slower for a bit. But, in a couple of weeks or so, maybe we can look into having some competitions. If anyone has ideas, do tell.

As there have been a lot of submissions this week, I am going to feature some of my favourites...
