I'm very pleased to present the second installment in the Portrait Club's Mini Features.

Hello! I'm Timothy, well it's rather obvious isn't it. From my user and all
I'm a photojournalist with my nation's military magazine, Pioneer Magazine, while serving my national service. I'm also the founder of Talent-Scope
I particularly loved this picture of the Officer Cadets throwing their peak caps during their commissioning parade because of the whole atmosphere given. It had poured so heavily in the afternoon, yet it stopped right before the parade commenced. As a result, the evening sky was thrown into a beautiful Golden-Blue Hue - A perfect way to commission over 200 officers that day. To top it off, there was even a double rainbow later on! The looks on the faces of the cadets show pure thrill in completing a grueling one year of training, marking them now as leaders to lead others.

Hey guys! My name is Mara and i'm from Switzerland(no prejudices please, there aren't just mountains and cows here ). My biggest hobby is of course: photography. Until now, most of my pictures contain flowers, but I'd love to make more portraits! I'm just afraid of asking people to be my model The only exception is my little brother(who's on this picture). I love his expression here. He was a bit annoyed that i was taking pictures of him and i think you can see that

I'm one of the many italian girls that lately has fallen in love with photography and my dream is to become a professional photographer someday. This is my fav picture because in my opinion it holds the two most important features that a picture should have: it's a portrait and it's spontaneous. I like to walk around and find the right moment to take a picture, obviously only if the subject of the picture is not aware of what i am doing (:

I can best be described as a "Time Artist". I work in a variety of Mediums & Styles, but a'lot of my work involves what can happen over given periods of time. "Self-Portrait #9" will always be one of my favorite Timelight Picture Studies... Not so much in that I think it truly captures me on a number of levels, but rather in the focus and agility that was required to do this as a "Self-Portrait" without any outside assistance... My name is Joana, I'm portuguese and photography is my passion! I choose this photo as one of my favourites, because I think it transmits the dedicated love between these two free spirits..

This picture - self portrait is special for me, as I have taken it couple days before someone close to me passed away, without knowing what is going on I felt really sad and it is fascinating how sometimes people can sense something... I love photography with all my heart, love to photograph people, emotions, bodies and also a bit weird subject which is always changing, but in some ways the same, fashion. I am loving all people`s interactions, that`s the beauty of the world - everyone is different and getting it into frame is just amazing.

This is an issue I am very passionate about, and I urge you to report art theft wherever you find it, be is on DA, or any other online or off-line place.

Unfortunately art theft happens so often that we sometimes feel powerless to do anything about it. But you can help.

If you see anyone abusing copyright, be it here, or even for a social club newsletter at work, speak up! Support a zero-tolerance for art theft in all forms!
