Submission Guideliness: [link]We all have very busy lives, and time is the one very important resource that once gone we can never get back again. Since I took over running this club I have put a lot of time and effort into creating a Club that is supportive of members and their art. I understand that not everyone has the time or inclination to support the Club in return.

So here's the deal. Instead of trying to be all things to all members, I've decided it's time to get tough, and concentrate on the loyal members who support the Club with their regular submissions, comments and feedback. You know who you are.

Loyal Members, what do you want from the Club? Member features? Tutorials? Discussions? Please leave a comment on this journal to let me know.

In the meantime there will be some changes in the way the Club operates:
- If you wish to stay in the Club, please send me a note letting me know
by June 30th. At this time the membership list will be cleared and started again.

If you have only joined within the last four weeks or are an Affiliated Club you don't need to do this.
- Submissions will still be included in the journal, but only images of the week and outstanding work will be

.
- Submissions will now be limited to one per week per member. Please only submit your very best work.
- Please ensure that your submissions meet the Submission Guidelines before you send them. Submissions that do not meet the Guidelines will be deleted without comment.
This changes will probably ruffle a few feathers, but it's time to get tough. I would rather support and promote a small number of dedicated artists who take the time to do the right thing.
Thank you to everyone for their support and I look forward to continuing this wonderful journey.
Kind regards
Morgana

STAMP OUT ART THEFT WHEREVER YOU FIND IT!
This is an issue I am very passionate about, and I urge you to report art theft wherever you find it, be is on DA, or any other online or off-line place.
Unfortunately art theft happens so often that we sometimes feel powerless to do anything about it. But you
can help.
If you see anyone abusing copyright, be it here, or even for a social club newsletter at work, speak up! Support a zero-tolerance for art theft in all forms!

yes i do like the current mini features and also deviation of the week
perhaps so sharing of photography techniques/studio would be handy. maybe even ask photographers to add small description of how they achieved the shot in their mini feature....if they remember of course
